As always, the event will start 19.00 GMT time in the Legio Romana guild hall. During the course of the week, any team strategies, builds and tactics will be discussed in the same forum topic, so it might be handy to keep an eye on it as the week progresses.

Senator God Wit released a short summary on the guild event of May 16th:

"Last nights' event was a resounding defeat for the forces of Rome. We took on the Zaishen Bounty to try and kill Zoldark after a three hour fight to get to him we met up with The Ancients. They have the ability to resurrect so quickly that we could not kill the final boss to get the key to enter Zoldark's chamber.

So out of total frustration The Forces of Rome resigned and left the field of battle with heads bowed, resolving to do an Arnie and we will be back but with better planning and skills to defeat the Ancients. We should take this as a lesson that the 6 P's work: Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

Special praise is due to Hearic Galahad for the very convincing girlish screams given out by him whilst trying to emulate Mar in doing a runner on Ventrilo. So take heart My Fellow Romans: we may have lost the battle but the war is still to be won!"

This weekend event for Guild Wars is the Heroes' Ascent bonus weekend. In Hero's Ascent you can earn double the fame and Balthazar faction, plus double chest loot for victories in the Hall of Heroes! The fun starts at 19.00 this Friday and ends on Monday 6:59 GMT.

Senator Fiona Candleshadow has announced the solution to the 132nd Map Hunters. However, it appears that this challenge was so obviously easy, that the brunt of the Roman explorers overlooked the easiest solutions to this challenge at hand. Senator Fiona:

"..I must admit I was little surprised, that this little challenge brought such trouble to the Mighty Legions. To be honest, after hearing periodic but persistient whinning about "this was so hard to get there" and "it was simple, but so much work and / or time to get there, so I did not bother this time" and so alike.So I decided for something immensly simple - or such was the first thought - what can be more easy and quick to access than an outpost? And then - not just ANY outpost - but outpost laying on the very path of the main storyline of a chapter....?"
