This weekend, starting on Friday 19:00 till and lasting until Monday 6:59 GMT, all Guild Wars players who successfully Vanquish areas in Hard Mode will receive double the amount of gold, title points, experience and faction rewards. Besides this bonus, the droprate on scrolls has been doubled and its effects will last twice as long. So Romans, sharped your blades, it is time to conquer!

Senator Fiona Candleshadow has announced that the 134th Map Hunters has remained unsolved. Although this week's challenge contained a waterfall - a specialty which is considered easy to find by most Roman explorers - it is with sadness that the Senate of Legio Romana confirms that this week's Map Hunters has indeed remained unsolved.

Nonetheless, Senator Fiona has released the 135th Map Hunters for all to give it another try. Happy hunting!

Senator God Wit has created a forum topic to determine what guild event is to be held on Saturday, May 30th. If you are a Legio Romana guild member - or alliance member - then please visit the Colosseum Forum and cast your vote on the guild event you would like to attend this weekend.

In this same forum topic we will discuss team strategies, tactics and builds to be used for the guild event to be held. So please keep a close eye on the topic during the course of the week. The Senate of Legio Romana has decided, after careful deliberation, that a new title is to be introduced in the guild. After each guild event, the team of guild members who participated will decide who was the most heroic Roman in that team. The elected member will then carry the "Hero of the Week" title, with a special announcement on the frontpage of our website. This is the first edition of this new title.

With Zoldark the Unholy defeated, the team of Legio Romana members has decided that Charlie Chunks has shown the most bravery upon succesfully vanquishing him. As such, the Senate has bestowed the title of Hero of the Week upon him.
