Last weekend Alliance Battles went quite well. We have got second highest faction in the alliance which is not a bad performance. Well done all! Total, our alliance now has a whopping 800.000 faction, which is still 300.000 under our highest ever. Nonetheless, we all had good fun goofing around.

For upcoming weekend, there will be rewards to be had in Vanquishing, which is done in Hard Mode. Vanquishing is when you enter an area in Hard Mode and kill every single monster in the area. Us from Legio Romana love this because it's similair to conquering, which is what us Romans love to do. This weekend, starting on Friday 20:00 GMT till Monday 07:59 GMT, the gold awarded upon succesfully Vanquishing an area will be doubled, as will the experience awarded. Besides that, the droprate and duration of scrolls will also be doubled.

All in all a good reason to take that dusty gladius out from under your bed, hook up with some fellow Romans and start the slaughter!

Seems the Halloween event of this year was a blast as GuildWars.com announces it will continue the event starting today, November 6th after the update which is due today. The continued Halloween event will last until Monday, November 10th 07:59 GMT. Please note that Mad King Thorn however will not be present. Nonetheless, if you're craving for some more Halloween goodies, this is your last chance for this year to acquire them!

This weekend Guild Wars Factions players will be able to acquire twice the amount of faction points for participating in Alliance Battles. This event starts this Friday on 20:00 GMT and lasts till Monday 07:59 GMT. So be sure to participate in massacring some Kurzicks. Somebody has to do it.
