Wintersday 2008 in Lion's ArchIt is that time of year again: Wintersday 2008 is coming! Wintersday 2008 will start on Friday, December 19th 2008 at 20:00 GMT and will end on Monday, January 5th 2009 at 20:00 GMT. The grand finale itself will take place in Lion's Arch (Guild Wars Prophecies) and Kamadan (Guild Wars Nightfall), starting on Thursday, January 1st 2009 at 08:01 GMT and repeats itself every three hours until 08:01 GMT on Friday, January 2nd 2009.

For those of you who I got really confused with the above, just have a look at the official Guild Wars website and it will explain everything. As every year, the unofficial Guild Wars wiki will probably provide additional, summarized details regarding Wintersday 2008. Currently nothing to see there yet at the time of posting this message, but that will probably change over the next few days.

I received a notification that our guild page on the official Guild Wars wiki was about to expire. To be dreadfully honest I nearly forgot about it. Hence I figured I would use the opportunity to update our Guild Wars Wiki page to our current situation. Hope you all like it.

GvG Weekend Coming PDF Print E-mail

Upcoming weekend is announced to be GvG Weekend. This means you will earn double GvG faction and Champion Points. The fun starts on Friday 20:00 GMT and ends on Monday, 07:59 GMT. Might be a good time to call upon some guildies, allies and what not to join the murder spree!
 
The Deep Event PDF Print E-mail

Last Saturday we had four Legio Romana members start on a mostly successful "The Deep" mission with a Pick Up Group - mostly Germans. A certain amount of trial and error got us sorted out in the end. The third attempt was a pretty successful run. One of our members had a computer failure and disconnected. It did not seem so bad, but at the end, another warrior would have been handy. We beat all challenges but Kanaxai.

We want to and can do better. If you wish to do The Deep, there are a couple of prerequisites:
-1- you can get to Cavalon
-2- you have been to The Deep at least once
