Back in the days of Caesar Aurelius Sancti, there was an Alliance Lottery game held for Legio Romana and its alliance members. The basic setup was as following:

• Sign up and hand in betting money
  Everyone who wanted to participate handed in one platinum to the bookie (usually the site administrator of Legio Romana). Upon receiving the betting money, the bookie signed the participant up for that week's Lottery.

• Let it ride!!
  When the sign up period closes, the Lottery programme starts to eliminate participants at random until one only participant is left. The one who remains left is the winner of that week's Lottery money.

• Always a good day if it is payday
  The Lottery winner collects the total sum of betting money from the bookie. Example: twelve particpants played in the Lottery, so there is 12 x 1 platinum = 12 platinum for the winner to collect from the bookie.

• Never quit if you are on a winning streak
  When the Lottery has ended, the sign up period for the Lottery of the next week automatically starts, and the game starts from the beginning again.

Additional note: once signed up remains signed up. Sign ups are only accepted if the betting money is handed in. No refunds are given at any time. The eventual winner will be announced in Guild Wars and on www.legioromana.com. Before that, inquiries regarding the Lottery winner or anything related as such are futile.

You can discuss this feature of our beloved guild on Forum Romanum and you can cast your vote on the attached poll. After seven days, the poll will be closed and the matter will be taken to the Senate of Legio Romana for further processing.

As per decree by Caesar Mar Eyskor, a retention vote is held amongst the Senate of Legio Romana. Purpose of this is to review which Senators are to remain in their offices for another term and which ones will not. Reason for this is that there are currently a total of ten Senators, but only few active on their duties. As such, Caesar Mar Eyskor has requested all Senators to cast their votes on the fellow Senators they believe should be retained. Details on the entire retention vote can be found in the appropiate forum topic on Forum Romanum.

Senator Fiona has released the solution to the 124th Map Hunters. Apparently a difficult challenge this time. Even though hints were given, it seems most Romans were unaware that there is actual flowing water in the Domain of Torment in Guild Wars Nightfall. As such, the amount of winners is spare. The Senate of Legio Romana kindly asks all good Romans to cast their vote once again. This time to determine the type of guild / alliance event to be held for Saturday, March 21st 2009. In case one is interested in such events, but cannot make it, then please vote accordingly. Any details on which event will be held and where will be announced in the attached forum topic on Forum Romanum by the appropiate Senator.

It has greatly improved Legio Romana's tactics and team coordination in the battlefield.
